Power surges are destroying converters, inverters and other electronics in RVs every day.  Converters, inverters and inverter/chargers have very limited protection but are not intended to protect from surges.  Even expensive inverter generators are responsible for many electrical failures. Surge protectors are cheap insurance and ours have a life time warranty!  Available in 30 Amp and 50 Amp configurations.  These products are available in portable and hardwired configurations and provide full coach protection against all adverse power conditions.
